Emma Tom likes to talk. She’s spoken at
arts and cultural events across Australia, as
well as in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jamaica.
Debates she’s participated in include "Can
Sex Save Your Life?" at the University of
Sydney and "That Miranda Devine Should Be
Bound and Gagged" (she insisted on arguing
for the negative) on FBI radio. She’s delivered
four major talks at the Art Gallery of NSW: "Picasso’s
Women", "Caravaggio – A Rock and
Roll Lifestyle", "The Bluffer’s
Guide To Art" and "Pissarro 101".
This is in addition to corporate work for a bunch
of organisations and businesses including Westpac,
The University of Melbourne, the NSW Equal Opportunity
Practitioners Association and The Caxton Awards.
